I hear alot about both Philadelphia and Detroit as great boxing cities, but mostly Philadelphia. I was wondering if there was a general consensus as to which city has the best boxing tradition and supports the sport best.

Yeah Phillie does throw out some talent, but Detroit was the leader when the Kronk gym was leading the way with class boxers..
Over in England Manchester is where its happening for talent at the moment...

Living on the east coast and growing up in Pennsylvania, I would have to say Philadelphia. It seemed that area had some of the best talent and was a center of boxing for years.
