ESPN 50 Greatest of All-Time
Found this link on ESPN where they pick their 50 greatest fighters of all time and include video of some of the fighters.

Do you agree with this asessment? Anyone missing? Anyone too high or too low in the rankings?

RE: ESPN 50 Greatest of All-Time
I think that is pretty accurate but would put some lower personally and I'd put other higher up...

I think it is sad that Tyson is ranked #50. If that man could have kept himself together, he would easily have been in the top 5. NOBODY induced fear in their opponents like Tyson in his prime. Too bad for him.

I agree that Tyson should be ranked higher. I also find some of the choices do not fit the criteria they used.

I'm not saying he deserves to be ranked higher. He doesn't. I'm saying that, if he had stayed the course he was on as a young man, we would be talking about the greatest fighter of all time. But, he screwed that up.

I understand what you mean, but I think he should be higher regardless. Still, I agree that he had much more potential than he used.
At least he made the list...

I am very dissipointed that mike tyson was number 50 you have to admit even with his messed up life he still should have been at least in the top 20.another complaint is the fact that evander holifield was number 50 he dosent deserve to be on that list even with his 2 wins to mike. The rest of the list is good and quite accurate besides foreman and fraizer who should have been uped like 5 more up the ranks.

RE: ESPN 50 Greatest of All-Time
Mike Tyson is not that good of a boxer. Everybody watches the modern boxers and has no idea how good the old time boxers were. Im not talking old like Ali, Im talking old like starting in the 1880s and ending in the late 1950s.
Mike Tyson was beating everybody up until he found the one person that he could not beat. What did he do? He bites his ear!!!! That kind of a disgraceful move should not even let him be on the list. I think that Tyson is a disgrace to the sport of boxing.
