Great fightbacks

Which bouts feature the greatest fightbacks in history?

Chico Corales vs. Castillo and Chavez vs. Taylor have to rate among the best - which others?

RE: Great fightbacks

Depending on what was really going on inside his head - Ali vs. Foreman. He was getting mauled, then he woke up, found an opening, and knocked Foreman out in a matter of seconds.

Lamon Brewster versus Wladimir Klitschko. Not often have I seen something quite like that.
Brewster proved to have a champion's heart and fighting ability.

RE: Great fightbacks

How about Nigel Benn V Gerald McClellan......Don King brought McClellan over to the UK to kick Benns butt, and did in the first round, Benn was out on his feet and at one stage punched through the ropes.....then the UK fighting spirit kicked in and Benn done a number on a so called hard man, stopped him in the 10th i think..... thats a great comeback....

yea, that was definitely a great fightback from Benn. Benn was dropped in the 1st and the 8th. Sadly the fight will be remembered for its outcome. McClellan collapsed in the 10th and had to have a bloodclot removed from his brain

RE: Great fightbacks

If you watch that fight all the way through, the only time Benn is not coming forward throwing and landing punches is when he is on the floor. I'm sure people were collecting their things together to leave after the first round but the way Benn came out in the 2nd after taking such a hiding in the first shows that he is one of the sport's great warriors.

It'd be interesting to see what was on the scorecards when it was stopped.
