The True Greats of the Past

Nobody ever posts about the greats of the past. All I see is fighters that fought during the 90s. I intend to tell you about the true fighters of the past. You should look them up. I will post small profiles up. This one will be of Sugar Ray Robinson.

Sugar Ray Robinson was a man who had 202 fights. He rarely lost. He lost 15 of his fights in comebacks. The man fought till he was 44. Sugar Ray Robinson is often thought of as the greatest fighter ever lived. By whom? Bert Sugar and Muhammad Ali. Also Floyd Patterson, and Joe Louis. Robinson fought the middleweight champion, whos name I cant remember, and danced around the ring for the whole fight. The temperature was 105 degrees. Robinson ended up fainting in the later rounds due to heat exaugstion. He was a middleweight that fought during the late 1940s and through the 1950s and the 1960s. Famous fighters that he fought were Jake LaMotta, Carmen Basilio, Gene Fullmer, Rocky Graziano, and many more. He has fought more world champions than any man alive. He has fought 18 world champions. He ended up winning 172 of his 202 fights, losing only 19 (or 17).
